So, you think you might like to take up 3D Field Archery. Below are the 7 steps that you will need to complete to join our club. They may seem complicated but really they can be quite streamlined, depending on your experience and/or enthusiasm.
STEP 1. Come out and see what 3D archery is all about: Use the email contact form at the bottom of this page to arrange a visit out to the club, to see our facilities and to see how we conduct our 3D archery shoots. This opportunity is available on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month, from 9am.
STEP 2. Complete a membership form, (this you will find just below) and email a scanned image or photo of that form to the club, at the email address: coffscoastarcheryclub@outlook.com.au

STEP 3. Pay your membership fee: Adult is $60, Children 7+ is $25, and Families are $120. You can pay this via EFT, using the account details :

STEP 4. Join 3DAAA. This is important as membership of this association will give you vital insurance cover. The cost for an adult’s yearly membership is currently $40. Complete the form and follow the instructions on the form for submission.

STEP 5. Organize or Purchase your archery equipment: With a little internet research you will soon determine the equipment suited to you, and find a range of Australian suppliers, who are willing to help as well. If you need some advice email the club on coffscoastarcheryclub@outlook.com.au
STEP 6. Arrange a time for a safety induction: Once you have your memberships organised and your equipment, it is time to arrange to have one or our club’s committee, show you around the club, get you started with some technique advise and to run you through the important safety procedures. To arrange your safety induction, email the club, and we will negotiate a time to suit you, usually on a weekend.
STEP 7. Attend your first 3D shoot: On your first three 3D shoots we will team you up with an experienced club member, who will run you through the safe conduct rules for a field shoot in a very practical way.
MEMBERSHIP FEES
Our current membership fees for 1 year are;
- Adult: $60,
- Cub (ages 7-12): $25
- Junior (ages 13-17): $25,
- Family (Parent/s and children under 18, only): $120
- Non-Shooters (For Carers, Volunteers and Spectators ONLY, NO archery permitted with this membership type): No charge
An Important note for New Members with Children younger than 12 years old
Cubs, (archers between the ages of 7 and 12) require; a parent, guardian or close family member to join at the same to provide supervision and care during every shoot event they attend, whilst being covered by the club’s insurance provider. The club and its members are NOT responsible for supervising children.
